With the ever-changing market dynamics, ease of accessibility to trusted, governed, and quality data is paramount for our analytical and business partners. Data domains are partners in our organization to bring efficiency and transparency in our data management, in collaboration and compliance with our Data Governance Office and guidelines, to provide secured access to our data assets within L’Oreal’s Beauty Tech Data Platform.

Sell Out Data Domain is looking for a Global Data Quality Lead who is responsible for 1) Data Quality measures and KPIs, 2) Leading the adoption of Data Quality monitoring and remediation process and tools with our data and analytics community, and 3) Fostering a data quality for all mindset.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Data management Industrialization with Regional Counterparts

  • Continuous development of Sell Out Data Quality Guidelines, process & playbooks with an understand & qualification of the business requirement: scope, issues, objectives
  • Define critical objects & attributes for the Sell Out Data Domain with our global & regional Data Quality Leads and Data Product owners
  • Responsible and support the implementation within the Sell Out Data Domain ecosystem
  • Animate, data custodian and consult data architect on quality matters
  • Data-related policies
    • Ensure the respect of the product data group standards/policies
    • Document & communicate the new best practices/standards
    • Write new, policy-compliant processes where required


2) Data Quality monitoring Tools adoption to drive data quality improvements with our metier, data stewards, and IT partners
  • Lead Masterclasses and workshops to onboard our key data management partners on Data Quality monitoring tools
  • Drive adoption of Data Quality tools and upskill on Data Quality KPI understanding to support efficient data issue understanding and remediation
  • Implementation of Incident Management process to streamline and simplify data quality issues remediation with consideration of dependencies with other data domains


3) Foster Data Quality for All Mindset
  • Global monitoring of our domain’s KPIs to measure data quality and monitor deviation from acceptable quality levels
  • Communication of insights gained or analyzed from data quality monitoring to support in topics such as data acquisition, process gaps …
  • Bring to forefront of dependencies with other data domains and support in alignment of actions to facilitate cross domain interactions and usage


YOUR SKILL SETS

Data-related technical skills
  • Has experience in retailer data management or external data sources
  • Has experience in analytics and/or analytic product development
  • Has previous experience with Data Management-related tools


Soft skills
  • Teamwork/Adaptability
  • Leadership and comfort in business exposure
  • Analytical skills (root cause analysis)
  • Able to identify & propose new solutions (Problem solving oriented)
  • Training kits creation & deployment for Business teams


Project management
  • Is skilled in Agile project management
  • Navigation in complex environment/organizations


Navigation within the organization
  • Has deep understanding of:
    • L’Oréal Organization & Data Organizations & analytic organizations
    • L’Oréal System functional architecture
  • Is capable of mobilizing teams, partners such as metier leads, data Stewards (of the domain & operational), Data Custodians on quality improvement actions within perimeter
