Mission

Drive, prepare and execute the global footwear merchandising strategy through seasonal milestones and interactions with key stakeholders.

Partner with regional &amp; IKA teams building bridges to gain insight on local requirements in addition to influencing and ensuring executional alignment with the global footwear strategy.

Own the distribution and segmentation strategy globally building assortments covering all channels including wholesale and own Lacoste retail.

Secure cross category alignment to ensure a holistic brand message at Point-of-sales.

Key activities

  • Create and maintain structured way-of-working across all global footwear counterparts, from early product creation stage to GTM handover, securing accurate and on-time delivery
  • Identify consumer behaviour through sell in / sell out analysis capturing trends across channels and key markets to impact the footwear offering and create commercial opportunities
  • Together with Global product and supply planning deliver seasonal range forecast with regional, channel and IKA knowledge
  • Be key point of contact towards the regional merchandising teams and deliver a clear Global footwear strategy, while understanding regional / channel needs by consolidating and prioritizing requests
  • Define and create Global Wholesale and DTC assortments guidelines
  • Own and coordinate the Global SMU process &amp; calendar with product, IKA teams and Key regional partners
  • Work closely with Demand Planning to gather and share monthly forecast updates with product teams
  • Report weekly, monthly and seasonally on product performance
  • Present product ranges at key milestones to large audiences

Profil recherché

  • 5-7 years' experience in the field of brand, merchandising or product management, ideally in sporting goods or fashion footwear company
  • Strong knowledge of sneaker market trends and wholesale retail environment
  • Passionate about sneaker culture and knowledge of the footwear industry in general
  • A thorough consumer understanding and the ability to interpret insights against strategy
  • Ability to thrive in a complex and ambiguous environment
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong solution-oriented mindset, organized work ethic and positive mindset
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with advanced knowledge and competency of Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
