As a leading player in the fermentation industry, the Lesaffre Group, as part of its customer-centric approach, aims to strengthen its B2B key accounts business. Within the International Marketing Department and under the supervision of the International Customers & Services Marketing Director, you will create the role of International Category Manager - Baking Industry. Your mission will be to support the Regions in their strategy to accelerate the development of our business with our industrial bakery customers.
Your role will be to structure, coordinate, and train the sales and marketing teams of the baking industry segment worldwide (50 subsidiaries across all continents). Specifically, you will:
- Ensure the monitoring of strategic customer relationships in collaboration with the Key Account Managers (KAMs).
- Understand and analyze customer needs, and propose tailored solutions in coordination with the Baking Centers network.
- Participate in defining the commercial policy and key account plans with the KAMs.
- Coordinate the sales (KAMs, sales engineers) and project (project managers) teams to ensure the successful execution of key account plans.
- Participate in major commercial negotiations in close collaboration with KAMs.
Develop customer and consumer knowledge:
- Evaluate and anticipate customer needs to propose new development opportunities to the Baking Regions.
- Structure and conduct competitive monitoring, ensure data tracking, trends, and coordinate or commission market studies (customer journeys / diagnoses on the industrial segment / formulate recommendations / Share market data insights).
Define the product/service offering and marketing plan with the Regions:
- Support the Regions in creating their "industry" product offering and associated services in coordination with the product teams and the Baking Center.
- Evaluate existing and future business models, including the evolution of digital sharing platforms.
- Support the Regions in the development, definition, and implementation of their Marketing/Sales plans, objectives, and KPIs for the industrial segment.
Support the Regions in the market launch of products:
- Develop "phygital" launch plans in coordination with KAMs, product/brand managers, the Marketing Communication team, and the Baking Center.
- Provide the Regions with product/service launch kits.
- Define training needs for the sales teams and support the implementation.
- Propose methods and dashboards to the Regions to monitor the performance of new product launches.
