Here is a description of the role we are opening:
As a Payroll and Personnel Administration Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient management of our staff’s remuneration and HR operations, contributing directly to our ongoing success and employee satisfaction. This is a strategic role combining compliance, process improvement, and people engagement.
Your responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
Partner with business leaders to define HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and labor laws regarding payroll and employee management.
Maintain a positive work environment, supporting employees through their lifecycle with the company.
Payroll Management
Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
Validate payroll data for compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Manage payroll systems and software, ensuring correct functionality and timely updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve any payroll system issues, coordinating with IT when needed.
Employee Lifecycle Management
Support workforce planning to meet current and future business needs.
Facilitate recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
Project & Change Management
Contribute to the definition, design, and implementation of strategic HR projects and initiatives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align objectives and ensure smooth implementation of HR changes.
Compensation & Rewards
Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits department to manage and review compensation policies.
Participate in salary benchmarking and propose adjustments to ensure internal equity and competitiveness.
Your profile:
Minimum 10-15 years of payroll experience (preferably in manufacturing sector), with knowledge of tax regulations and labor laws.
Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., GTA / GTA Décidium) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello).
Strong understanding of compensation/benefits, HR policies, and financial fundamentals.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and employee relations skills.
Experience in a consulting firm is a plus, and Vehicle recommended.
French native, English fluent
