We are seeking a Green & Sustainable (G&S) Analyst who will work across various geographies, product lines, and client sectors to address critical themes related to climate change, sustainability, and social cohesion. This role involves supporting the Green & Sustainable Hub team in conducting primary research, developing analytical models, and creating presentations that guide clients in aligning their financing strategies with sustainability objectives while enhancing access to the expanding realm of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) investors.

You will have the following responsibilities:

G&S Origination:

  • Create comprehensive presentations for clients on the green and sustainable finance landscape.
  • Develop tailored client presentations featuring in-depth analyses and proposals for G&S financing.

G&S Structuring:

  • Assist clients throughout the execution phase (Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Loans, Securitization, etc.).
  • Draft frameworks for green, social, sustainability, or sustainability-linked loans and bonds.
  • Analyze and provide insights into clients; sustainability and ESG policies, project types, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be included in their frameworks.
  • Aid in selecting and appointing Second Party Opinion (SPO) providers or verifiers.
  • Develop summary slides outlining clients; frameworks and G&S strategies for inclusion in broader lender or investor presentations.

Collaboration:

  • Partner with "green captains" for the co-origination, structuring, and syndication of G&S financing products (bonds, loans, securitization) across various sectors, including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Energy, and Financial Sponsors.
  • Contribute to the innovation of Green & Sustainable Financing products.
  • Work with the Green & Sustainable Hub's Center of Expertise to promote research and product development across teams.
  • Coordinate inquiries related to the Green Weighting Factor with the GWF team in Paris.
  • Stay informed about developments in the G&S market.

This position is only opened to the candidates who are eligible to the Business France V.I.E program :

- French or European citizens

- Between 18 and 28 years old

- To be from a country other than the host country

- Graduated


Profil recherché

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:


* A Master's or Bachelor's degree in financial engineering or a similar field.
* An introductory understanding of green and sustainable finance.
* Prior internship experience in ESG analysis or sustainable finance is preferred.
* Solid verbal and interpersonal skills as well as skillful written communication is necessary, including the ability to convey thoughts clearly and succinctly and to communicate relevant complex information in a clear and organized manner.
* Strong interpersonal skills to manage interactions with other teams within the Bank. * The ability to manage multiple priorities while working under pressure to meet deadlines and to respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on clearly defined tasks, while knowing when to involve other team members as needed and working effectively in a team environment.
* Fluency in English.
