WHY WE NEED YOU ?
Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Projets team.
Your mission will be to oversee a portfolio of diverse projects related to hardware and data center operations. These projects may include large-scale product deployments, optimization initiatives, or the launch of new products. The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project execution within deadlines and budget constraints.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM :
We work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together.
You will be part of a team of 4 people. The team is responsible for deploying Scaleway’s products and/or infrastructure across data centers in France and internationally. It also manages technological upgrades required to meet client demands, such as decommissioning obsolete equipment and optimizing the installed infrastructure.
YOUR DAILY ROUTINE :
1. Deployment Project Management:
- Defining timelines for each project.
- Managing a portfolio of deployment projects across data centers.
- Developing project schedules and milestones in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Optimizing human and material resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
2. Project Execution:
- Organizing and lead follow-up meetings with internal (technical, network, product, supply chain) and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring smooth communication between teams to guarantee optimal project execution.
- Identifying risks and implement necessary mitigation actions.
- Maintaining clear and precise documentation to ensure operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
3. Performance Monitoring:
- Tracking project progress and provide regular reports to management.
- Evaluating project performance, identify key learnings, and suggest areas for improvement.
- Participating in periodic audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
ABOUT YOU:
SOFTSKILLS :
- Strong leadership and ability to mobilize multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organization, attention to detail, and responsiveness to unforeseen challenges.
- Innovative mindset and proactive approach.
- Team-oriented and collaborative.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- At least a B2-level English (certification is a plus).
💻 HARDSKILLS :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3/5) in project management, IT engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in a cloud provider environment.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Expertise in managing technical projects (IT infrastructure, data centers, networks, or products).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall).
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Budget tracking and priority management skills.
- Proficiency in Atlassian tools and GSuite.
- Understanding of security standards and data center certifications (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
