Marketplace Team at Scaleway:

At Scaleway, we are expanding and have decided to create a new team dedicated to developing solutions for marketplace platforms. This initiative aims to strengthen our market presence and provide innovative solutions to our clients.

The Marketplace team is a brand-new entity within Scaleway. You will have the unique opportunity to help build it from the ground up, contributing to defining its culture, processes, and objectives. As the first technical member of this team, you will work closely with the founders and existing teams to lay the foundation for a high-performing and cohesive team.

🗓️ Your Daily Missions Include:

Development and Management of Artifacts:

- Design, develop, and maintain essential artifacts for marketplace platforms, such as operating system images, container images, and artificial intelligence models.

- Collaborate with internal teams to understand specific needs and tailor artifacts accordingly.

- Ensure the quality, security, and scalability of the developed artifacts.

Backend Development and Integration:

- Participate in the design and development of robust backend solutions, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

- Develop and maintain high-performance APIs for integration with various platforms and services.

- Work closely with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experience.

Cloud Environment and Containerization:

- Work with cloud providers and PaaS platforms to deploy and manage scalable solutions.

- Use containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators such as Kubernetes to ensure application portability and scalability.

Agile Approach and Team Collaboration:

- Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and planning sessions to ensure progress aligned with project objectives.

- Collaborate with diverse profiles across the company, sharing knowledge and contributing to a continuous learning environment.

Adaptability and Problem-Solving:

- Demonstrate autonomy and adaptability in the face of technical challenges, proposing innovative and effective solutions.

- Identify and resolve technical issues quickly, minimizing operational impact and ensuring system reliability.

🔍 About You:

> Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Go and Python.

Experience with SQL databases and Git version control.

Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Experience in developing and maintaining APIs.

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

> Soft Skills:

Autonomy and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.

> Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in backend development with a focus on cloud environments.

Familiarity with marketplace platforms and the creation of container images.
