The Product Team

The Product team is the driving force behind OVRSEA’s vision. Our tools are revolutionizing international freight transport! As pioneers in a market with limited digitalization, our PMs develop innovative transport management solutions for our customers and empower our Operations teams to operate with maximum efficiency.

We offer three 3 products:

- Atlas: an innovative Transport Management System (TMS) for Freight Forwarders, currently used exclusively in-house. It transforms how we manage global shipments and streamline operations across various tasks.

- Hermes: our client-facing platform, designed to empower customers of our Freight Forwarding services with efficient management of their international shipments.

- OneChain: a best-in-class SaaS solution for Shippers (companies that export/import goods). It enables them to manage and optimize their entire supply chain, even when working with other Freight Forwarders outside of OVRSEA.

The team's challenges in 2025:

- Develop our internal & external products to handle large recurring customers.

- Scale our OneChain SaaS product to support our Sales objectives and strategy

- Prepare Atlas to support our M&A strategy.

- Be at the forefront of GenAI use cases to automate freight forwarding.

- Launch our internal app as a Transport Management System for Forwarders, to be sold as a SaaS to other Freight Forwarders.

You will be working on our freight forwarding service line, involving Atlas & Hermes.

What is it like being a Product Manager at OVRSEA?

Product Managers at OVRSEA are highly autonomous, playing a critical role across all levels. They manage their entire scope operationally while also contributing strategically by defining roadmaps, identifying new opportunities, and prioritizing them.

You will report directly to our CPO Georges and focus on our freight forwarding service line, which involves two key products: Hermes (for our external customers) and Atlas (our internal tool), each with unique challenges and specificities.

As pioneers in a complex and under-digitized market, we have the exciting opportunity to build innovative solutions in this space!

Your missions

Product Discovery (50%)

- Discover and prioritize the hottest issues through frequent user interviews (user research, participation in demos, customer calls)

- Identify behaviors, trends and pain points through analysis of our data (PostHog, Metabase, Datadog)

- Stay informed on industry news, competitors, and best product practices

Product Delivery (30%)

- Convert the product roadmap into clear, concise and optimized projects

- Work with Engineers to build the best product solutions

- Define product specifications and create design prototypes

- Monitor the performance of our features and improve or remove them as needed

- Communicate new product releases to users and promote a product-driven culture at OVRSEA.

Strategic vision & Roadmap (20%)

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and align on strategic projects

- Feed the Product Strategy with insights gathered (user interviews, fieldwork, data, competitive intelligence...)

- Identify and prioritize upcoming projects with the Product team

- Contribute to the improvement of our processes and our recruitments

- Participate in the development of PM skills within the team

Your impact

Our products are at the core of our company's operations. By working on them, you will directly influence how the company functions and collaborate closely with various C-level and Head Of stakeholders. Furthermore, with upcoming M&A plans in 2025, adapting our products effectively will be a critical factor in our success.

Additionally, we are in discussions to launch a Transport Management System (TMS) that will be offered as a SaaS solution to other freight forwarders. You will play a pivotal role in driving and launching this “startup within a startup” initiative, with the potential for significant impact.

Are you The One?

- You have more than 3 years of experience as a PM

- You are used to working in a startup environment in "test and learn" mode

- You are highly organized, rigorous and autonomous

- You have managed and/or participated in projects with demanding stakeholders, and where you had to reconcile conflicting needs

- You have an analytical mind with an appetite for data, but you also know how to dive into the operational side of things
