Reporting to SportPursuit MD and under close coordination with Group CEO ,This ESG Lead contributes to our ESG strategy definition, implementation and monitoring against performance KPIs.
Relying on in-depth ESG culture and best practice knowledge you will manage internal and external communication in particular in consistency with the latest CSRD requirements.
Your role includes but is not limited to:
Reporting our ESG numbers as a Group, working with both stakeholders from SportPursuit and Private Sport Shop in order to collate and organise
Identifying and assessing ESG risks and opportunities for the Sportscape business
Coordinate the many teams across the Group and directly lead projects involving these teams
Managing ESG regulatory watch, in particular regarding CSRD
Contributing to Group ESG strategy update through interactions with management team, exec team and business stakeholders
Manage the direct interactions with critical stakeholders such as our finance providers or external authorities and consultants including press and shareholders
Implementing ESG group strategy in coordination with all internal and external stakeholders
Monitoring ESG strategy implementation progress and ESG corporate performance
Managing internal and external ESG reporting and communication
To be successful in this role you must :
Be a fluent French and English speaker
A Bachelor degree or higher in areas of business, environmental science, sustainable development, CSR or a related field
Experience interacting with senior leaders and stakeholders and preferably in an ESG related role
An understanding of or willingness to learn the ESG legislation in both UK and France
Data driven, bring a mindset along with the ability to be hands on when needed
Be highly numerate and logical - able to interpret results and suggest next steps. A high level experience of using Microsoft Excel to view and manipulate data (eg Pivot Tables)
A high level experience of using Microsoft Excel to view and manipulate data (eg Pivot Tables)
Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and if needed to manage projects
Have high level of integrity with strong sense of team orientation
Great listening skills, ability to align stakeholders of diverse cultural background
