Join Qomon as an FP&A Intern!

You join a startup’s Operations and Finance team, diving into all things corporate Finance—from building dashboards and reports to exploring new markets and delivering sharp analysis for market exploration.

In particular, you’re passionate about data, metrics, and turning insights into action. You want to have a strong impact on the strategy of a fast growing startup, and are looking to sharpen your financial skills while contributing to strategic business decisions, this is your chance.

What makes this role unique?

As an FP&A Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our financial decision-making process. You’ll work directly with our COO and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Care, Marketing, Product). This isn’t just about running reports; it’s about influencing the way we grow.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyze Financial Performance:

    • Collect, structure, and analyze key financial data (revenues, margins, costs) to create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

    • Identify financial trends and provide recommendations to optimize performance.

    • Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and financial forecasting.

  • Track and Analyze KPIs:

    • Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with departments to build effective tracking tools.

    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and metric tracking.

  • Manage Analytical Tools & Reporting:

    • Help update and enhance financial dashboards and internal reporting tools.

    • Perform ad hoc analyses and financial simulations to support strategic projects.

    • Ensure the reliability of financial data for informed decision-making.

  • Support Financial Planning:

    • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.

    • Work closely with teams to translate their operational plans into annual financial projections.

    • Support leadership in tracking performance against financial objectives.

  • Administrative and Operational Support:

    • Help with billing processes, working alongside the CEO and CSM team.

    • Assist in managing bank flows, supplier invoices, and expense reports.

    • Ensure smooth information flow between teams and compliance of administrative documents.

Profil recherché

Your Skills:

  • Studying towards a Master’s in Finance, Business, or related field.

  • Strong grasp of financial concepts (profitability, costs, margins).

  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools (databases or BI tools are a plus).

  • Clear, concise communication skills.

  • Highly organized with a proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • English is important as part of the team doesn’t speak French (non French-speakers are welcome).

  • Self-starter attitude and the ability to execute new ideas with autonomy.

  • You’re curious, proactive, and not afraid to take the initiative.

  • You deliver on time and are highly reliable, without compromising quality.

Déroulement des entretiens

1. A first 20 to 30-minutes visiocall with the COO to understand your aspirations and assess your fit with this internship.

2. A written asynchronous use case which will be reviewed by several members of the team, with a link to a recorded demo of our product.

3. A 45-minutes interview to delve into the details of the position and address any questions (either via video call or in-person) with the COO.

4. A final call with our CEO (and if you visit the office, a coffee with your potential coworkers).
