We’re looking for a hands-on and analytical Business Controller to join our growing finance team. In this role, you’ll be a key finance business partner, supporting the business and ensuring financial and business control over support services and development-phase projects. ey Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for support services and development projects. 

  • Help shape and improve financial controls, reports, and dashboards as we continue rolling out our new ERP system. 

  • Analyze variances and suggest ways to optimize costs and improve efficiency. 

  • Prepare and present clear, insightful reports to the business . 

  • Support financial planning processes such as annual budgeting, periodic re-forecasting, and the monthly closing process.  

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights that drive smart decision-making. 

  • Get involved in cross-functional projects, ensuring finance plays a key role in business decisions. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 

  • At least 2 years of experience in Controlling, Audit, or a similar financial role.  

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a problem-solving mindset. 

  • A flexible approach—our business is growing, and we need someone who can adapt to change. 

  • Great communication and people skills—you’ll be working closely with various teams. 

  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability in financial processes and reporting. 

  • Proficiency in French and English (Dutch is a plus!). 

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in SAP 4/Hana and Microsoft PowerBI is a plus. 

  • A genuine interest in the Renewables industry! 

  • Willing to travel to France on a quarterly basis for financial reviews and collaboration.

Déroulement des entretiens

Indicative steps of the recruitment process:

  1. Initial interview (video or in-person) with the HR Manager

  2. Follow-up interview (video or in-person) with the hiring manager

  3. Final interview (in-person in the Leuven office): During this step, candidates will receive a case study to prepare and present to the hiring manager and the CFO
