📢 About the Position:

Are you passionate about business development and eager to join a dynamic, innovative team? Become our Senior Sales Professional and play a vital role in expanding Rise Up's presence in the UK and Ireland market! This strategic role focuses on business development, client support, and international expansion, enabling you to secure new contracts and maximize upsell and renewal opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Conduct qualification meetings and platform demonstrations with clients.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and inquiries from potential clients.
  • Regularly participate in outbound activities: join cold-calling and outreach sessions with the SDR team to build a strong pipeline.
  • Collaborate with partners to generate leads and respond to requests for recommendations (e.g., content providers).
  • Conduct regular follow-ups (at least twice a year) with clients who do not have dedicated CSM support to maintain close relationships and uncover new opportunities.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by effectively managing renewals across all accounts.
  • Identify new opportunities with large and mid-sized accounts by establishing connections with key contacts in related entities.
  • Oversee renewals for designated accounts.
  • Attend industry functions and networking events to represent Rise Up.

Collaboration and Upsell

  • Partner closely with the CSM team to identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities, enhancing the value of each account.
  • Act as the main point of contact for CSMs for all upsell activities, providing your expertise and support.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute event and lead generation strategies.

LMS/LXP Expertise

  • Become a subject matter expert in our LMS tool, able to answer operational and functional questions at Level 1 and deliver fast, efficient technical support.

Performance Metrics

  • New Business Acquisition: Measured in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) on a quarterly basis.
  • Client Satisfaction and Retention Rate.
  • Anti-Churn Rate.

💡Desired Profile:

  • Proven experience in business development or a similar role with a strong focus on commercial growth.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills and a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of LMS systems, with the capability to provide Level 1 technical support.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and achieve set objectives.
  • Professional English proficiency – all internal documentation is in English, and our clients are spread across Europe.
  • Bonus: Proficiency in French or Dutch is a plus but not required.
