What will you do?We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced System Architect to join our Systems Architecture and Engineering team. This position is responsible for supporting and enabling our Digital Power software & hardware solutions. The role will focus on discovery, design, and validation of integrated system solutions across our Digital Power portfolio. This will involve doing hands on software & hardware exploration, writing requirements for the R&D teams, and validation of requirements from the customer perspective. The product portfolio includes Power Metering, Protection, Control, Power Management edge and Cloud software. An ideal candidate would have 8+ years of experience in these areas.

  • Interface directly with solution engineering, product management and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine and document functional & non-functional system requirements
  • Work with Offer Technical leadership and software technical architects to optimize the design of the system
  • Detail system requirements that mainly involve cross component interaction and optimized user experience
  • Visualize system architectures using interface and lifecycle diagramming techniques
  • Detail requirements into Agile based Epics, User Stories and Acceptance criteria
  • Interface with technical product owners and development teams to clearly communicate requirements and provide coaching on design aspects
  • Through acceptance criteria ensure clear validation requirements for each part of the system architecture

  • Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or CESAM certification
  • Good understanding hardware, and communications architectures
  • Good working knowledge of software architectures including data acquisition, data storage and web visualization
  • Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, BACNet, OPC DA/UA, IEC61850, SNMP
  • Experience with application segments such as Data Centers, Energy & Chemical & Power & Grid
  • Power Operation or similar SCADA offer and connected communication hardware/gateways
  • Basic understanding of OT & IT networking
  • Customer-service oriented and able to advocate for customers with project teams
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently and independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with customers and technical colleagues, sharing detailed technical information in an easy-to-understand manner (written and verbal)
