EMEA TRAVEL RETAIL OPERATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER

FROM SEPTEMBER 2024 TO FEBRUARY 2025

Fragrances brands (Narciso Rodriguez, Issey Miyaké, Serge Lutens, Zadig & Voltaire)

& Cosmetics brands (Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Nars, Drunk Elephant)

 

 

 

 

 

ORGANIZATION :

 

The Operational Marketing Manager's mission is to ensure the interface between the Shiseido Travel Retail, Marketing Development, Sales Force and Support Services in order to define a marketing strategy adapted to the Travel Retail channel. He/she is in charge of managing a portfolio of 8 brands with the support of team of 6 people (1 Brand Manager, 3 Product Managers and 2 interns).

He/she reports to the Marketing Director, within the EMEA Travel Retail Department, located in Paris.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES :

 

Develop and optimize the marketing strategy for the portfolio of  brands to reach the annual targets (sell in / sell out / OP)  :

  • Build a Travel Retail marketing plan and define clear priorities for the sales team by sales cycle
  • Adapt the marketing plan by region (Europe, Middle East) and by TR retailer according to their specificities
  • Optimize the business model by brand, define the right levers including recommendation and implementation of trade and media plans
  • Oversee the 360° launch plans (merchandising guidelines, customer engagement and retailtainment for major podiums, visuals strategy, GWPs mechanics, training modules…)
  • Work on forecasts /sizing for finished goods, POSM, GWPs…
  • Propose a pricing strategy for TR based on Local markets positioning
  • Analyze the results of the sell in / out and propose corrective action plans when needed
  • In charge of the marketing budgets (marketing expenses, GWP, POSM)

 

 

Communicating and promoting fragrances & Cosmetic brands.

Prepare and present the portfolio/marketing strategy during

    • Internal meetings : sales seminars, BC seminars, budget meetings…
    • External meetings : Retailer’s meetings …
    • Develop launch reports including best practices and key learnings

 

 


Profil recherché

PROFIL :

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience, mainly in operational marketing
  • Good knowledge of the Beauty category
  • Possessing excellent communication skills /speaking English fluently
  • Strong team spirit and leadership
  • Curious, rigorous and synthetic
  • Available with regular travels to meet retailers/ check shops/seminars…
  • Short term contract to cover a maternity leave, from September 2024 to February 2025.
