    Job Description

    As Shotgun VP of Sales, you will lead the charge in scaling our GMV to the next level, building, managing and optimizing a high-performing sales team. With a presence in France, the US, Brazil, and Portugal - each at different stages of market development - your mission will be to design a global sales strategy tailored to each region while fostering a culture of sales excellence across the organization.

    The objective is to grow 5x in GMV over the next 36 months. You will report directly to the CEO and regularly participate in both the Executive Committee and Board meetings to provide updates on sales performance and strategy. On day one, you will lead a team of 10 people.



    Role’s objectives

    1. Scale Revenue Growth:
      • Achieve a 5x increase in GMV within 36 months
      • Build and execute an outbound strategy focused on Key Accounts
      • Partner with Marketing to co-create a scalable lead generation engine
    2. Develop a World-Class Sales Team:
      • Recruit top-tier talent, growing the team of sales reps and local heads of sales globally
      • Coach and develop high-performing reps, turning them into consistent top performers
      • Partner with RevOps to implement sales enablement programs to improve efficiency and performance metrics (deal size, GMV per rep, conversion rates…)
    3. Shape Long-Term Sales Strategy:
      • Define and execute a strategic sales roadmap in collaboration with Marketing, Operations, and C-level leadership.
      • Design the sales organization structure for 2026, 2027, and 2030, ensuring scalability for global expansion.

    Profile

    We are looking for a seasoned sales leader with experience scaling and managing large teams, driving international expansion, and building complex sales strategies. Passionate about recruiting and developing talent, they bring a competitive mindset and strong business acumen to build Shotgun Sales Machine.


    Ideal Candidate Requirements

    • Strong background in sales management, having led teams of 20+ for at least three years, within scale-up environment (Series B or 200M+ GMV / 20M+ revenue)
    • Recruited and developed top talent; managed individual contributors and if possible managers as well
    • Fluent in English and French, with a passion for international expansion and hands-on experience in driving growth across multiple regions, particularly the US
    • History of closing six-figure deals in competitive markets, preferably in a field sales environment, ideally within the entertainment or even live music industry
    • The ideal candidate has experience developing sales strategies, and implementing data-driven processes with tools like Hubspot
    • This is a hands-on, strategic role that requires exceptional drive, a competitive spirit, and a commitment to excellence: the candidate will embody Shotgun’s core values of passion, resilience, humility, and continuous self-improvement
