Responsibilities

We are looking for a V.I.E. to join our COMM team within SG Luxembourg. Our Communication team is composed of 7 people with different profiles, working together to define the Bank's communication strategy and its development. Whether externally or internally, communication is essential to always better engage our customers, partners and employees.

The future V.I.E. will have the mission centered around the below main pillars:

I. DIGITAL

  • Propose internal digital communication strategies and implement them
  • Create communication media: internal videos, presentations, posters, newsletter, etc.
  • Write relevant and compelling communications for social networks and internal communication
  • Carry out updates to the Internet and intranet sites: content, writing, follow-up
  • Accompany our employees on social networks, coach them
  • Ensure coordination of digital communication aspects with the rest of the communication team, in particular the "Private Bank" and the "Securities Trades" and the Digital Innovation team of SG Luxembourg
  • Coordinating and/or advising communication officers who wish to develop skills in video production, social networks and multimedia tools
  • Conduct a social media watch and compile relevant KPIs

II. EVENTS and 360
  • Create and organize internal and external events by monitoring service providers (from 20 to 500 guests)
  • Support event communicators, the creation of communication materials or logistics
  • Managing cross-cutting communication projects: monitoring and advice, steering, coordination of their implementation and monitoring

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Digital Communication and Events
  • A previous experience in the Communication would be appreciated

Language skills:
  • Fluent in English and in French (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Familiar with Adobe's Creative suite or any other graphic (Canva) and video creation tool (Premiere Pro or other editing software)
  • Social Networks master command, especially LinkedIn
  • Able to convince and adapt to your environment
  • Impeccable writing, spelling and grammar skills
  • Rigorous, organized and know how to follow procedures, meet deadlines and guidelines
  • Curious, creative, solution-oriented and with a sense of aesthetics

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
