Swan is looking for a full-stack Data Analyst to join our Data team. The current team is led by Romain, our VP data, and consists of 8 members with expertise in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering and Data Analytics.
As a Product Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the Product team, becoming a key partner in both daily operations and strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data and product development, leveraging insights to drive impactful decisions. You will also work alongside the SSAM team and our Partners to understand user needs, enhance product performance, and ensure an optimized user experience. Your analytical expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our product strategy and delivering meaningful improvements.
✨ Your mission
Product Insights & Development: Collaborate closely with the Product team throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and data exploration to tracking, metrics instrumentation, and performance analysis.
Strategic Partner Analytics: Support Account Managers with data-driven insights, delivering everything from quick ad-hoc analyses to in-depth deep dives that drive strategic decision-making.
Domain Ownership and Enablement: Act as the go-to data expert within the department, taking full ownership of all data-related inquiries and processes. Empower team members by developing resources and delivering training that facilitates self-service analytics and promotes effective data usage across the team.
Internal Data Strategy: Help shape our data strategy by actively contributing to internal guidelines and best practices, suggesting process enhancement and adoption of new tools.
✨ You’re a great match if:
You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or equivalent.
Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience in data modelling.
Proven experience in project and stakeholder management, able to own projects from conception to execution with minimal supervision.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Great communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders in English.
Passion, curiosity, and the capacity to learn quickly are important, as we are constantly exploring new technologies and approaches to improve our work.
Ideally, you have already worked with DBT and a BI tool (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, etc).
Ideally, you have already worked with Product and Engineering.
