At Takara, we are a team of creative thinkers and problem solvers who share an openness and curiosity about the world, and a drive to improve human health through innovative new technologies.

We have two key European locations. Our French offices in St-Germain-en-Laye house the European Sales and Marketing, Customer Support, Human Resources, Finance, and IT teams. The stem cell development and manufacturing teams are located in Gothenburg, Sweden. We also have colleagues working from locations throughout Europe.

The Sales team at Takara is not just the face of the company, but also our eyes and ears on the ground. The Direct Sales team is spread throughout Europe, home based. The business development team deals with industrial clients placing larger or custom orders for commercial and/or clinical purposes, while Inside Sales explores on promising leads and submits tenders. This team is focused on building strong relationships, to ensure both the success of our customers and the continued growth of the company.

Our customer support team have been known to move mountains and split seas to get our products to their final destinations, while our technical support team have yet to meet a problem they cannot solve- whether it’s experimental planning or troubleshooting, they are our in-house masterminds/brainboxes. This team deals with a diverse range of customers, from purely academic research groups to pharma R&D, all in a day's work.

The marketing team deals with strategy, communication, digital channels, lead funnels, SEO, SMM, CPCs, CTRs, CRs, KPIs...Oh, sorry, have we lost you? The marketing team combines a deep knowledge of science with experience in market analytics to continually drive the company forward. A hybrid team of scientists and experienced marketers, there's no acronym they can't decipher.

The HR team helps to integrate and maintain our diverse workforce by providing support to employees based in seven (excluding Sweden) countries around Europe, each according to their local guidelines. 

The Finance team let us take all the credit, but they're the ones who really count around here. They take care of all our budget and manage expenses. 

The IT team have got our back(ups)- they keep all of our work stations up and running, as well as securing our data and setting up systems for us to interface with external partners.
