We are currently seeking a Senior Offshore Modules Transportation & Installation Engineer M/F, reporting directly to the Transportation & Installation Manager, to join our Paris team (Nanterre, 92).

About your team:

Within the engineering division of Technip Energies' Paris office, you will report to the Naval Engineering and Marine Operations Department.

With 60 years' experience in energy project design, the division is made up of 600 people representing all the disciplines present on our installations (>20).

 

About the mission we offer you:

You will participate in the engineering and design of projects carried out by TEN France for the Group's various Business Lines, decarbonized solutions (Carbon capture, H2, Wind), LNG or biofuels. On these projects, most of which are export projects, you will interface with teams from other disciplines within Technip Energies (project management, procurement, construction) as well as our mainly international partners.

As a Senior Offshore Modules Transportation & Installation Engineer M/F, your main activities are as follows: 

• Development of methods of SPMT Transportation of Modules (typically from 2’000 to 20’000 tons) 
• Development of methods for load-out/load-in of such Modules 
• Development of sea transport methods, either by towing or on specialized vessels, ... 
• Development of specifications and other technical documentation required for the purchase of equipment or the subcontracting of certain activities. 
• Preparation and/or review of documentation associated with Transport and Installation operations 
• Management and coordination of related subcontracts 
• Sharing experience and expertise within the department and the group 
• Coordination with Project and other disciplines 
• Management of interfaces with other parties: Customer, Subcontractor, MWS, etc. 
• Depending on the size of the project, supervision of a team of engineers and draughtsmen 
• Depending on project phases and requirements, participation in operations on site or offshore. 

 

About you: 

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

• Graduated from an engineering school (ENSTA, Centrale Marseille, Centrale Nantes, SeaTech, or equivalent...) 
• You have operational experience of heavy cargo transportation including load-out/in (heavier than 2’000 tons) 
• Ideally, you have at least 5 years' experience in offshore engineering/operations. 
• You speak fluent English and are mobile for short trips in France and abroad, including mobilizations on site or offshore.
