About the role

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work at the heart of Temelion’s agentic AI-based platform.

From designing and developing state-of-the-art Knowledge Graph and LLM strategies (fine-tuning, prompt optimization, CoT, multi-agent design, etc.) to imagining innovative AI/human UX, the candidate will contribute to solving complex and exciting building design problems.  

The person in this role will partner closely with the co-founder and CTO and will be in tight contact with our talented development team. 

This role also provides a unique opportunity to implement state-of-the art agentic AI workflows, tool use and integrate the latest developments of foundational AI models. 

Responsibilities

• Understand Temelion client problems and provide data insights and recommendations

• Set up a high-quality and a scalable data strategy (data and feedback acquisition, repositories, datasets, metrics, etc.)

• Implement, design and test AI models (in-house, fine-tuned or external)

• Implement, design and test agentic workflows that use internal and external tools

• Contribute to designing an easy-to-use and client-friendly human/machine UX 

• Contribute and strongly influence the ML roadmap (data, tools, platform, workflows)

• Maintain a constant technology watch on AI (LLM in particular) to benchmark technologies 

• Work hand-in-hand with the product owner to find the best AI solutions to ship high-value product features.

The successful candidate shall have a 360-degrees passion for all data challenges (acquisition, transformation, processing, etc.), for solving hard business problems using state-of-the-art AI models and tools.

Working in an agile, innovative and fast-paced environment is a must.

Skills required

• You have 5+ years experience as an ML engineer and previously solved challenging enterprise problems.

• You are hands-on and have a solid expertise with Python and Pytorch (or other frameworks like scikit-learn / Tensorflow / Keras)

• You have a good experience with advanced aspects of LLMs and Agents (benchmarking, optimizing, fine-tuning, CoT, etc.)

• You have a solid theoretical background (machine learning, deep learning, statistics, complexity analysis, scalability discussion, etc.)

• Previous experience with deploying an industrial AI product or service at scale on AWS or GCP is a plus

• Working knowledge of VLMs is a plus

• You are a problem solver: you like finding impactful solutions to complex problems
