The Ops team is key in our business, from product reception & repair to expedition. The Ops team run all the physical operations and manage our industrial asset scaling. The Head of Ops will work directly with Léa (COO) and Claire (CEO).
Head of Ops missions:
Build and lead a strong Ops team
Recruit A-level Ops managers
Lead the Ops team to ensure high performance
Ensure that the Ops team works closely with the rest of the company to support our fast paced growth & expansion
Define Ops vision & strategy
Build an Ops vision and playbook that will make Underdog the leader of its market
Share this vision to COO / CEO / CMO / CSO / CTO to be fully integrated into Underdog global vision
Build strong strategic plans to make this vision happen, and then execute them with your team
Build the most efficient operational flow
Impulse a strong data-driven culture in your team to make sure they set up tools and dashboards to get an accurate view on operations
Design and implement processes to optimize customer experience and financial efficiency thanks to lean management culture (with the support of your team)
Build strong production plan to give visibility to other teams (supply & marketing)
Own all the ops costs (labor, packaging, after-sales, transport etc)
Build the Underdog expansion
Choose the right location for our next warehouses
Recruit the best Floor Ops Managers to open new warehouses
Ensure warehouse launch and ramp-up performances
We are looking for a Head of Operations who is ambitous, data-driven, able to work in the high growth environment.
Asked skills
Data-driven: high analytical skills, ideally you master SQL
Fast execution: you are able to take decisions fastly, you execute with efficiency
Hands-on: you are both operationnal and able to step-up to define strategy
Drive: you are self-drive, you are able to define a vision, decline it in plans and execute them
Fluent in English
Required experience
10 years in very analytical roles (strategy consulting, finance, etc) and/or high growth environments (startups, scale-ups) and/or operations roles.
Formation en Grande École de Commerce ou d’Ingénieur (Bac +4/5).
