Your Assignment
As a key member of the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) practice, this Senior Atlassian Consultant specializes in leveraging the Atlassian tool suite for ITSM solutions. They assume a critical role in analyzing client requirements, tailoring bespoke solutions, and configuring Atlassian tools to streamline IT Service Management processes. This specialized position is dedicated to optimizing workflows, enhancing collaboration, and refining software development practices within the ITSM domain, utilizing Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Active client engagement, training provisions, and strategic guidance form the cornerstoneof maximizing the efficacy of Atlassian tools, specifically customised for ITSM implementations.
Things You'll Be Working On
Project Delivery
Deliver billable consulting services focused on Atlassian products, utilising project management methodologies effectively across various scenarios and adapting methodologies to new situations.
Take ownership and lead client projects, managing their delivery through the full project life cycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring successful completion and validation with clients.
Initiate project kick-offs with customers, oversee project progress, and ensure successful delivery, potentially assuming the role of a team coach, guiding and mentoring junior colleagues.
Customer Management
Develop strong customer relationship and expectation management skills by independently engaging with customers, effectively communicating with both internal team members and external customers.
Ensure a comprehensive understanding of business objectives associated with assigned projects or programs, demonstrating influence towards positive outcomes internally and externally.
Consulting Excellence
Utilise technical expertise and implementation experience to enhance functional and technical solution skills, actively participating in high-value projects like technical audits, functional audits, and advanced software configurations.
Develop awareness of the competitive landscape, understanding key differentiators and competitive positioning within the market.
Collaboration
Become an expert in a specific area of the business (e.g., ITIL, Agile digital transformation) or emerge as a leader in one of our products.
Assist the sales team by providing technical insights during the pre-sales process and share expertise and experiences with team members.
Actively contribute to internal knowledge sharing by participating in the internal knowledge base, blogs, and assist in proposal production.
Service Request Automation
Design and implement solutions within Atlassian tools to automate service request processes, ensuring streamlined and efficient service delivery.
Incident and Problem Management:
Configure Atlassian tools to support incident and problem management processes, enabling effective resolution and root cause analysis within ITSM frameworks
Change Management Implementation
Lead the setup and customization of change management processes within Atlassian tools, facilitating seamless and controlled changes in IT environments.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure compliance with ITSM frameworks and governance standards, implementing necessary controls andconfigurations within Atlassian tools.
Do you have what it takes to be a Senior Atlassian Consultant ?
A degree in computer science or equivalent technical experience.
A proven dedication to personal and professional development, keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
Strong knowledge of the Atlassian suite, including Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket, with experience implementing and configuring these tools for ITSM solutions.
An analytical mindset to tackle complex challenges and design effective, scalable solutions.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
Experience managing full project lifecycles, from initiation to completion, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment, juggling multiple projects and adapting to client needs.
An understanding of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and familiarity with the competitive landscape, including key differentiators and trends
Verbal and written Dutch and English language fluency
