Your challenges

You will join an informal and collaborative team of seven professionals who are enthusiastic about enabling the business to make the right data-driven decisions and supporting the business by communicating transparent financial figures and recommendations. We are ambitious and growth focused, both in terms . You will join a Global Finance Organization where you’ll gain the advantages of a global finance strategy, and shared data systems and performance metrics.

As our Senior Finance Business Partner, you will support the Sales & Marketing regional organization in the management and monitoring of its expenses and develop the performance management agenda for two of the markets in region South West Europe covering France, Iberia, Italy and Benelux. You will become a trusted sparring partner to the Region by supporting and advising on operational and strategic decision-making. You will work at the VELUX regional headquarters in Morangis and report to the Finance Director of the SWE region.

More specifically, your primary tasks will be to:

  • Continuously monitor, assess, and drive transparency on financial performance in your area, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support management decision making.

  • Partner with the business to analyse variances, assess performance and operational cost, and communicate key metrics and messages across the region and to the Group.

  • Develop the budget process and strategic annual financial plan for your market.

  • Develop and define KPI reports and metrics, using VELUX’ BI tools and programmes, e.g. SAC and Power BI, and utilising reports delivered by the shared services BI reporting team.

  • Participating in the deployment of Group projects, standardisation and optimisation initiatives and ad hoc analyses across the region.

  • Support with regional tasks across the other markets.


Profil recherché

Your Qualifications

We picture you as having great interest and experience within finance and performance management, coupled with an analytical mindset and the ability to build relationships and communicate with various stakeholders across the organisation. You are interested in making a difference and understand how to develop performance through insight, data-driven analysis, and good collaboration with the rest of the business. You take the initiative and are comfortable acting individually but within a good collaborative team environment.

We expect that you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar, alongside a commercial mindset.

  • Demonstrate solid experience from a Finance, Business Partnering, Management Consulting, or Strategy function, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Possess significant stakeholder management skills and are equally comfortable and effective in dialogue with stakeholders across all levels.

  • Have enhanced analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Have knowledge working with financial data, ERPs, and reporting systems (VELUX uses SAP).

  • Have extensive Excel experience and the ability to handle large sets of data.

  • Experience producing dashboards in Power BI or similar provides a benefit but not required.

You will join a global and intercultural environment, which is why it is a prerequisite that you communicate effortlessly in English in both speech and writing.
