Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking to work for an innovative software company on a Global Market level?

 Witekio is headquartered in Lyon and has five office locations across four countries, including the USA, UK, France, and Germany. Witekio is also part of Avnet - a Fortune 500 company.

 Witekio is looking for a Business Development Manager responsible for managing day-to-day Business Development activities in the USA, primarily on the West Coast. This is a hands-on position, requiring a growth strategy mindset. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales and Marketing, along with local partners.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building networks, and technology, and promoting company services. You prefer to work in an environment that emphasizes ownership, collaboration, learning, curiosity, and a drive to always improve yourself and the organization. You love problem-solving and are not afraid to pick up the phone and knock on doors.

 

Compensation Range: $100-140K plus commissions

THIS IS A LOCAL HYBRID ROLE ONLY; MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA

 

Business development

·         Develop and execute growth plans that align with company objectives

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with new customers to position Witekio as the go-to partner for all software product development

·         Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, and customer needs

·         Provide customers with ongoing business recommendations and solutions

·         Do qualification calls following demand generation team efforts

·         Use CRM to lead laser-approach campaigns on our contact base (former customers, former prospects) and qualify roadmap and hidden needs. 

·         Leverage our customer base and partner base to be referred to new potential targets

·         Use Outbound Tooling and Social Networks to lead laser-approach campaigns on our sweet spot and qualify the roadmap and hidden needs. 

·         Identify events in our ecosystem to build a contact base and identify new target 

 

Closing and Upsell:

·         Manage the sales funnel (from opportunity identification to closure)

·         Lead pre-sales effort and make sure we deliver attractive proposals, on time, and with a high chance of success

·         Sync with the local engineering director + pre-sales team to actively manage the different deals and related actions

·         Identify upsell opportunities with customers, focusing on our accelerator and packaged offers. 

·         Manage all legal and contractual aspects with customers.  

 

What you bring:

·         Networking

  • High-level organization and thoroughness (follow-up, meeting notes, etc.)
  •  Build Long-term relationships through trust and commitment.

 

Qualifications:

Experience  Selling Professional Services

·         3+ years of sales experience

·         Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office

·         History of success in maintaining and developing key relationships

·         Track record of success meeting or exceeding sales goals/quotas utilizing a CRM system

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong Networking and negotiation skills

·         Strong problem-solving skills

·         Proven hunter mentality

·         Ability to travel up to 40- 60 %
