Building on our success in France, Work with Island has garnered the trust of over 1,000 customers and has become the preferred partner for major players in the tech ecosystem (Alan, Qonto, BackMarket, Swile…) and leading corporations (L’Oréal, Engie, LVMH, Vinci…).

To support our fast-paced growth, we are seeking a Business Developer based in Paris, responsible for advancing our business in France.

As a vital member of our Sales team, you will oversee the entire sales cycle, from discovery to closing deals, and client upsell. Operating with autonomy, you will have the flexibility to propose and adapt your strategies and methods.

On a daily basis, you will engage with founders in the tech ecosystem as well as office and workplace managers.

🎯 Main responsabilities:

  • Outbound (50%): Prospect new companies through emailing, cold calls & Linkedin outreach, focusing on startups and SMBs.

  • Inbound (50%): Qualify incoming leads and convert them into clients.

  • Upsell : you will also be responsible to generate and manage all upsell opportunities with your existing clients.

  • Participate in trade shows to enhance our reputation and find new clients.

  • Analyze your performance and identify levers to improve conversion.

Profil recherché

  • >4 years’ experience in sales.

  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle : prospecting, closing and upsell.

  • Hunter mentality: strong appetite for outbound and cold calling.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Fluent in English: Capable of daily interaction with an international team.

  • Proficiency with Hubspot is a plus.

  • Startup mindset: Autonomous, proactive, and a team player.


Déroulement des entretiens

  • A 45’ interview with Nicolas, Head of Sales or Laurine, Team Lead Sales.

  • A 60’ face to face interview (including role plays) with Nicolas and Laurine.

  • A team fit with 2 sales team members.
