First commercial agreement with H&M
Two PHDs, a material scientist and a chemist, came together in 2019 with the optimistic idea that molecular chemistry could change the future of fashion.
Fairbrics was born with a vision to fight climate change by developing circular manufacturing processes and incorporating waste CO2 as a feed-stock reduces the reliance on expensive fossil fuels. In a nutshell, using CO2 to create polyester.
After the first demonstration of direct conversion from CO2 to MEG, numbers of partnerships were signed with partners from the Fashion industry ( H&M, On Running, Aigle) and beyond ( Forvia and Citeo).

The plan is based on three pillars: the company, its employees and its products. Fairbrics is committed to continuously assess the GHG emissions of its products, to ensure the welfare of its employees and create a positive impact on its territory.
Every action plan requires a diagnosis. To reduce our CO2 emissions and ultimately aim for carbon neutrality, we carried out a company's carbon footprint. The objective? To know where our company is hurting.
Once our carbon footprint was calculated, setting up an environmental policy at Fairbrics was straightforward since the main areas for improvement had already been identified.
