Le poste

Descriptif du poste

This role is based in Nantes or Vendée in Montaigu where the factory is located. A Paris trip will be planned to work directly with our R&D team and lab twice a month.

Communication and Coordination

  • Establish optimal communication with CoManufacturer’s technical teams.

  • Provide technical input on manufacturers’ capabilities and constraints in project meetings.

  • Coordinate trial preparation and logistics with the operations team (e.g., samples, raw materials).

Technical Support and Process Development

  • Offer technical support to CoManufacturer to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.

  • Organize and monitor trials for new product development.

  • Track process modifications and optimizations for existing products.

  • Transfer technical know-how to align manufacturing with product briefs.

  • Scale up new recipes from lab to pre-industrial and industrial scales.

  • Conduct pilot and industrial trials, producing sample products.

Performance Optimization and Continuous Improvement

  • Plan for production volume increases with the manufacturing team.

  • Ensure profitability by identifying and implementing cost optimization strategies.

  • Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators and data-driven tools.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., lean six-sigma, loss analysis, quality stabilization).

  • Troubleshoot and stabilize product quality issues.

  • Audit suppliers and assist with internal audits.

Training, Leadership, and Strategy

  • Train and coach factory managers and technical teams on La Vie technologies.

  • Lead brainstorming sessions and foster collective intelligence.

  • Set up and manage a strong industrial team, defining strategies for coproduct valorization and new market opportunities.


Profil recherché

  • You are a food engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience, in the food industry. Plant-based Protein experience is a huge plus!

  • You have excellent communication skills and demonstrated autonomy in your previous roles

  • You are detail-oriented with good reporting abilities

  • You have excellent project management skills and can handle multiple projects on several sites at once

  • You are Fluent in Both English and French

Recruitment process

Process You will have a first video call with our Head of People Apolline, a second interview with Veronica, member of our Industrial engineer team. Then a business case to present to Vincent our CTO. We will also ask you to share your references 😉

If all these steps go smoothly, we are happy to show you around in the office and present you to the rest of the team!
