About the Role:

As a UX Copywriter & Product Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our users experience and engage with Cafeyn. Sitting at the intersection of user experience and product communication, your mission will be to craft clear, impactful, and engaging content that simplifies navigation, drives feature adoption, and builds a consistent brand voice across all touchpoints.

This hybrid role combines the precision and user-centric focus of UX writing with the creativity and strategy of product marketing communication. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and CRM, to deliver messaging that is not only functional but also resonates with our users. Your work will directly influence user satisfaction, engagement, and retention, ensuring that our users understand and enjoy the full value of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

UX and Product Copywriting:

  • Craft clear, engaging copy for the app that enhances user experience, simplifies navigation, and fosters engagement with various product features. Your copy will directly impact the user journey, guiding them intuitively and enhancing overall satisfaction.
  • Work closely with design and product teams to integrate content into wireframes and prototypes, ensuring each message is purposeful, functional, and aligned with the product’s aesthetic.
  • Refine and maintain Cafeyn's style and tone guide to ensure a consistent brand voice across all product communications. Propose updates to the guide based on user feedback, market trends, and evolving industry standards.
  • Content Development Across Formats: Create content for various channels, including push notifications, in-app messaging, and email campaigns, aimed at increasing user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Support Product Awareness: Work with product teams to craft user-centric messaging that highlights the value of new features and updates, making them easy for users to understand and adopt.
  • CRM Collaboration: Partner with the CRM team to deliver personalized and targeted communications (e.g., welcome emails, tutorials, push notifications) that showcase key publishers, content, and product features.
  • Data-Driven Copy Improvements: Measure the impact of content using key metrics (e.g., open rates, click-throughs, engagement rates), performing A/B testing to refine and optimize message effectiveness and engagement.
  • User Feedback Integration: Leverage user feedback and competitive research to continuously refine messaging, ensuring it resonates with users and aligns with industry best practices.
  • Educational and Support Content: Create detailed user guides, FAQs, and tutorials that simplify feature adoption and empower users to navigate the product confidently and effectively.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice across all touchpoints (app, emails, notifications) to create a unified and seamless user experience that reinforces the product’s value proposition and brand identity.
  • Stay updated on trends in UX writing and product communication to incorporate innovative approaches into your work, ensuring the content strategy remains fresh and user-focused.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in UX writing, product copywriting, or a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing clear, engaging, and user-focused content.
  • Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to craft high-quality content in both languages.
  • Strong ability to create concise and intuitive microcopy for digital products, enhancing user experience and navigation.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and how content impacts the user journey.
  • Experience developing content across multiple formats, such as push notifications, in-app messaging, emails, FAQs, and tutorials.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with designers, product managers, and CRM teams to align messaging with functional and business goals.
  • Proficiency in analyzing content performance using metrics (e.g., open rates, click-throughs) and applying data-driven improvements.
  • Strong written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across all touchpoints.
