Position Overview:

As the Mobile Engineering Manager at Citygo, you will lead a team of approximately ten talented iOS and Android engineers. You will oversee the development of our mobile app and ensure that it meets the highest quality and performance standards. Collaborating closely with Product, Design and UX, Data and Analytics, and the other Engineering and QA teams, you will play a critical role in shaping Citygo’s user experience and technical strategy. This position reports directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a chapter of talented Android and iOS engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design and UX, and Data and Analytics, to define and execute the product roadmap in line with the company’s objectives.

• Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for our mobile platform.

• Contribute to the overall technology strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the rest of the Engineering and QA teams.

• Continuously improve development processes and methodologies, advocating for code quality, automation testing, and more efficient deployments.

• Monitor and improve key metrics around app performance, stability, and user experience.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on mobile development (Swift/Kotlin/React Native).

• 3+ years of mobile engineering leadership and people management.

• Proven track record of leading teams that have shipped and scaled consumer-facing mobile applications.

• Strong understanding of mobile development best practices, patterns, and architectures, including Clean Architecture principles and MVVM/MVP patterns

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience working with design systems and maintaining consistent user experiences.

• Experience with the following (or similar) is preferable: SwiftUI, Storyboard, Jetpack Compose, Firebase, RxSwift, Async/Await, Coroutines, XCTest, JUnit, Moya, Retrofit, Combine.

• Experience in delivering high-performance, high-traffic mobile applications.

• Languages: Fluent in French and English.
