IT Market Services (ITMS) at Euronext is a pivotal department that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of market services. This department is responsible for the technical aspects of trading platforms, overseeing everything from system functionality to user experience. The team's expertise spans a broad range of services. ITMS is also known for its commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Within ITMS, our Integration and Release Management Teams are at the heart of delivering high-quality, reliable software. Together, we ensure that diverse software components work in harmony and that software moves smoothly through development, testing, and production environments.

Integration Team:

Our Integration Team is dedicated to identifying and resolving issues such as compatibility problems, communication errors, and data corruption to ensure smooth integration. We work to reduce risk by catching issues early, preventing costly fixes down the line. Our team verifies that functional and technical behaviors of interfaces meet design and specification standards, building confidence in the quality of these interfaces through rigorous testing. We are adept at finding defects before they become major problems and ensuring that all components interact seamlessly. Additionally, our team leverages automated integration regression tests to ensure that changes do not break existing interfaces, components, or systems.

Release Management Team:

Our Release Management Team is responsible for managing and synchronizing Release Management, Change Management, and Incident Management processes. We work collaboratively with all participants in software development projects to translate diverse needs into a detailed release roadmap. Our team is committed to continuously improving processes for better results, ensuring consistency between releases.

Mission:

As an Operational Excellency Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Integration & Release Management. Your mission is to streamline team activities, enhance efficiency, and eliminate operational pain points. You will be the driving force behind continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring they align with the evolving needs of our dynamic teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Integration & Release Management to understand team objectives and operational challenges.
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement projects to drive efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational excellence strategies that resonate with team goals and company vision.
  • Engage with various teams to identify inefficiencies, gather feedback, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Establish reporting to compare monthly objectives and the associated KPIs. Provide a clear and detailed action plan to facilitate the achievement and surpassing of objectives. Conduct regular follow-up meetings to monitor progress and ensure accountability.

Your profile :

  • A proactive mindset with a keen interest in operational excellence and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions and workshops for team members on operational excellence and tool utilization.
  • English and French proficiency
