Descriptif du poste

Your mission

You will play a key role in developing relations with institutional players in the textile industry sector: public bodies, textile trade federations, etc.;

You will be involved in managing the company’s public affairs, including regulatory issues, environmental policy and government relations.

You will work closely with the public affairs team to positively influence the policy and regulatory environment for the textile sector.

Responsibilities:

INTERNATIONAL REGULATION SCREENING

  • Analyzing current environmental policies

  • Monitoring and mapping legislations in Europe and specific to member states (UK, IT, Northern Europe)

  • Preparing and drafting meeting notes on textile public policies under development, and advocacy materials: position papers and PowerPoint

  • Investigating new regulations coming regarding the textile industry

  • Attending webinars and summarizing and presenting your findings

INTERNAL PUBLIC POLICIES DOCUMENTATION

  • Updating Fairly Made internal documentation and internal FAQ;

  • Supporting internal questions and meetings to promote legal culture;

  • Preparing “scoping” notes for Fairlyders and internal legal decks;

  • Carrying out research on particular points of environmental law and governance related to the mission of Fairly Made.


Profil recherché

What we need

  • You have a degree in Political Science, International Law or Public Affairs or you are enrolled in a Master’s degree (M2)

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and French are essential.

  • You have a genuine interest in sustainable fashion, circularity and environmental issues in general.

  • You are autonomous, responsive, reliable.

  • You have a good understanding of navigating complex legal landscapes

  • You have strong written and oral communication skills

  • You are able to summarize information concisely in presentation materials

  • As a reminder, all internships must be concluded via a French internship agreement provided and signed by your school or university.
