As our product scales, we are looking for a Data Engineer to develop and optimize data pipelines that support both internal customer data and training data for AI models. This role will play a key part in bridging the gap between business intelligence and AI research, ensuring that data flows efficiently across our Go-to-Market teams and R&D.

Role

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.

• Build and maintain script and automation tools for data ingestion, processing, and quality monitoring, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Ensure seamless integration of data tools with existing software systems and third-party platforms to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Implement real-time and batch processing workflows using big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Airflow.

• Continuously improve and enhance data architectures, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance for high availability and low latency.

• Provide documentation and training to enable team members to use data tools effectively and ensure alignment with best practices.

• Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, implementing robust monitoring and governance frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, and product managers to understand data needs, refine data strategies, and build customized solutions for data-driven AI models and analytics.

Daily Tasks and Projects

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools.

• Optimize data warehouse queries and storage solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

• Automate data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity.

• Integrate APIs and webhooks to automate workflows between internal and external systems.

• Work on real-time data streaming projects to enable AI-driven insights.

• Support CRM and customer data integrations (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  

Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or data infrastructure, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

• Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow).

• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses and storage solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, S3).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset to optimize pipelines and workflows.

• Experience working with APIs and workflow automation tools.

• Ability to work remotely with occasional team meetups.

• Nice to have: You’ve worked with Salesforce (CRM), HubSpot (inbound marketing) and database (Metabase or equivalent).

What Gladia offers

• The compensation offered is based on seniority and experience, and would typically range from €55K to €70K in base salary + BSPCEs.

• Full remote policy in France with team gathering in Paris every 1.5 months or work from our amazing offices & rooftop in the heart of Paris (Sentier)
