OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
As Digital Lead, you will be the client main contact for all strategic digital issues. Your mission will be to maintain the highest level of excellence in all digital domains for Nestlé on all levers, to define the digital strategy and ensure its implementation, and to coordinate and supervise digital operations.
Responsible for accelerating the digital media excellence and for owning & developing strong relationships with the FR Nestlé NIM team & also key marketing stakeholders (like, Marketing director, CEX) providing excellent strategic guidance, developing holistic (brand & performance) digital media strategy and have the knowledge/skills to push innovative thinking as well as best in class planning.
The digital lead is providing thought leadership and digital strategic guidance to effectively leverage experience, knowledge/skills to push innovative thinking.
This role will be a key enabler and accelerator for driving transformation.
The role is supported by OpenMind leadership and a team of specialists, to draw from for inspiration and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support implementation of "fewer, bigger, better" strategy through Category holistic media strategy and measurement (including Retail Digital Media & Search).
- Become a key stakeholder in your clients’ business, understanding their business objectives, needs, and challenges to developed business and contributed to its growth
- Drive transformation by identifying key projects in collaboration with the west cluster transformation lead
- Define and drive digital strategy for Nestlé for branding and performance campaigns.
- Apply & drive the data strategy defined by the west cluster data lead
- Oversee & coordinate digital teamwork and activity - ensure all digital plans that exit the building are 1st class.
- Identify best practices and share learnings
- Systems planning - implement strategy across the Nestle & ensure full compliance with use of our systems.
- Provide guidance and framework on measurement approaches and new pilots and share best practices
- Own QBR & bi-annual Top to Top Sessions to review quarterly digital strategic performance, key findings, challenges & future plans work completed and future digital strategy and next steps.
- Facilitate the provision of regular updates about digital media landscape changes to the whole team and to Nestlé
- Strong relationships with key media owners to deliver brilliant partnerships for Nestle.
- Identify new trends and opportunities for Nestlé to optimize performances
- Help facilitate sharing of insights and ensure consistent application of tools and processes
- Build supportive and collaborative team culture to help everyone produce work they are proud of.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Solid digital experience: a detailed understanding of communications planning with experience identifying the role of paid, owned, and earned media channels, and their contribution to business outcomes, both brand and performance.
- Excellent leadership capability, both internally within the agency and with senior clients. Experience of leading large teams highly desired.
- An ambition and tenacity to make the ordinary extraordinary.
- An ability to spot the real issue behind the brief – knowing how to challenge the client to understand what they really need.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise key work streams.
- Sufficient knowledge of market landscape [e.g. consumer, publisher, regulatory)
- Ability to think strategically about media in the context of business performance
- Ability to influence without authority
- Persuasive skills and successful operations approach to a highly matrixed organization
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, advanced degree a plus
- 8+ years of experience
- Required previous experience with large global and/or regional clients
