HOLLIS & BEAN (www.hollisbean.com) is seeking a full-time senior content consultant to lead strategy and production for a range of visual content formats (e.g. video, infographics, digital immersive stories, social network posts).

This is a new role created to support the agency’s significant recent growth in video and infographic production. It includes:

-CONSULTING: work daily with a variety of clients in different industries to understand and define their communications objectives and advise them on appropriate content strategies and formats

-CONTENT CREATION: plan, storyboard and produce content for a range of channels and media; write and edit text in English based on source material in French or English

-INTERNAL ADVISORY: support and advise the agency’s editorial project managers on conceptualizing ideas and transforming written content into storyboards for visual media (videos, infographics, social media carousels etc.)

-PROJECT MANAGEMENT: liaise with clients to ensure projects run smoothly, to budget and to client and agency expectations; coordinate and brief designers, developers and writers; manage project quotes and invoicing

The successful candidate will be a communications consultant with:

• 4+ years’ experience in a communications agency

• Proven expertise in transforming written content and other source material into visual ideas and storyboards

• Strong writing and editing skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously

• Capacity to manage a team of writers, designers and developers to achieve project aims

• Good general knowledge and an inquiring and analytical mind

• Enthusiasm toward developing a thorough understanding of our clients’ business

• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with genuine enthusiasm for helping clients reach their goals; someone who is team-minded and respectful of suppliers

• Capacity to understand new ideas rapidly and create relevant, stimulating content that engages the intended readership

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (English, Economics / Business, Journalism, Marketing & Communications)

• Fluent English

• Spoken and written French

All written material is produced in English, but you will be required to liaise with clients and suppliers in French.

The agency specializes in content for B2B companies. An appetite to learn about sometimes complex industries is essential. Existing knowledge of finance, energy, sustainability or general business management would be a bonus.

The salary range given corresponds to different levels of experience and skill, as assessed during the interview process. H&B offers a transparent salary and bonus structure: as a guide, you can expect to receive:

-€45-50k gross salary + €2k bonus with 4 years’ experience in a similar role. A higher base salary is available according to experience.

HOLLIS & BEAN asks candidates to complete a short test to assess their writing and analytical skills.

Successful candidates are then invited to an on-site test and two interviews in person with different members of the agency.
