We have ambitious objectives to reach for the Mid-market (clients with between 250 and 1000 FTE in France) segment in 2025. We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager based in Paris to drive the expected growth and manage a team of 5 dynamic Sales representatives.  

You will closely collaborate with a second Mid-market Sales manager in France, co-leading a team of 9 FTEs and sharing the responsibility for the most mature country for Mid-market at Malt. 

Reporting directly to our Mid-market Director EMEA, your goal will be to help us to reach our targets in 2025 and thereby expand this high-potential team.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Lead and develop your team: 
  • Manage a team of 5 FTEs through regular meetings, 1-on-1s, and performance reviews 
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to help your team reach their full potential 
  • Define your recruitment needs and participate in screenings, interviews, and panels
  • Drive Sales Excellence: 
  • Understand the unique challenges of your market and become a trusted business partner to your clients
  • Lead by example by co-leading strategic meetings and c-levels discussions with your Sales reps and by mastering Malt’s sales pitch, product and sales tools
  • Act as a coach with your team by sharing your expertise in account development and account growth
  • Optimize Sales Processes: 
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops to allocate territories, accounts, and objectives effectively 
  • Accurately report and forecast business activity to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
  • Partner with Sourcing, Community, Marketing to provide your Sales reps with the resources they need to succeed
  • Provide feedback to the Product team to ensure Malt's solution aligns with your client's needs and market trends
  • Share best practices across all Malt Sales teams and European Sales team
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • At least 4 years of sales experience, overcoming hurdles with clients and 120% committed to achievement
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team: ability to recruit, train & empower your team, you know how to adapt your management style to the person and situation
  • Solid hunting and farming skills: ability to develop & grow a portfolio of accounts and handle meetings with C-Levels
  • Data-driven, process-oriented and results-focused
  • Expertise in Mid-market sales cycles is a plus
  • Fully fluent in French & English and comfortable in a dynamic international environment

  • Ambitious and driven
  • Supportive of your team: Good listening skills and ability to adapt to the different personalities, situations, and needs of a diverse team
  • Capable of giving constructive feedback
  • Able to define an annual plan and to monitor plan execution
