ImVitro

In 2019, Alex Boussommier-Calleja began exploring cell culture applications that could benefit from software tools to impact patients at large. She realized that at IVF’s core lies cell culture, along with the pain points that she had experienced in her years of research. IVF centers in Spain & France showed rapid interest and she started collaborating with 10+ centers, enabling her team to kickstart the R&D behind ImVitro’s product, EMBRYOLY. 

ImVitro was among Station F’s Future 40 2019 startups, and has been part of several esteemed accelerators like Entrepreneur First that witnessed ImVitro scale to 15+ collaborators and undergo multiple fundraising rounds with European and US VC funds.

In the short term, the goal is to keep acquiring more customers within Europe and the US and through their use and our continuous research, keep publishing evidence that demonstrates ImVitro’s clinical value-add.

In the medium term, ImVitro wants to expand their existing product globally to other markets and, in the long term, they want to keep developing new features that digitize more tasks for IVF centers, to become an end-to-end SaaS platform for all embryo management needs.
