At Joe AI, interns are treated as full team members with the same responsibilities as full-time employees. They tackle high-priority tasks that deliver value to our clients and end-users, gaining hands-on experience in real-world product development and iteration.

🦸 Your Missions

As we move in an environment which evolves very fast, you should expect your missions to change quickly. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the things you will do:

• Voice AI Research and Improvement: You will contribute to the research and development of our voice AI, the automation of real estate management through generative AI solutions, performance optimization using NLP and machine learning, while collaborating with the product team and participating in strategic decisions to evolve Joe AI

• Continuous Optimization: You will focus on continuously optimizing application performance, reducing loading times, and ensuring maximum responsiveness in real-world conditions.

• Client Support: You will work closely with product teams to quickly integrate user feedback and ensure smooth and efficient onboarding.

• Component Modularity and Reusability: You will focus on creating reusable modular components for both front-end and back-end. This approach is essential for building a scalable, maintainable codebase while reducing duplication and improving development efficiency.

• API Development and Maintenance: You will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs, ensuring they are optimized for performance, security, and scalability.

• Back : Python, PostgreSQL, GCP & other cloud services

• AI: Mistral, OpenAI, Anthropic, Eleven Labs, Deepgram, QLoRA, Hugging Face

• Front : Typescript, Apollo, Graphql, React, Vercel

🌎 Location

Our offices are located in central Paris (9th arrondissement), near Le Peletier station on Metro Line 7. We are very flexible with remote work, but the onboarding always takes place on-site for the first two weeks.

🧑‍🌾 About You

We are looking for an exceptional individual who combines technical expertise with a startup mindset. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI and technology, with a drive to make a significant impact in their job. Your curiosity and ability to learn quickly will be essential as you navigate our fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Education: You are graduate student from a top engineering school or have Master of Science in Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Languages: You are fluent in English & French, both spoken and written.

• Tech curiosity: The AI landscape evolves rapidly. You stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and are passionate about exploring new tools and solutions.

• Research: You have experience with research, or building complex systems from scratch.

• Problem solver: You demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a proven track record of breaking down complex challenges into manageable solutions. You’re resourceful in finding creative approaches to technical problems and can effectively debug and optimize systems.

• Programming: You have experience writing code and are fluent in at least one programming language. Specific knowledge of a programming language is not required, but we expect you to be able to understand and have a strong understanding of software development principles.

• Entrepreneurial: You have a startup mindset and take ownership of your work. You can effectively prioritize tasks and act decisively. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to deliver results quickly.
