Your Role 🎯

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Kiliba, you’ll be at the heart of our AI innovation, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Recommendation Systems. Reporting to the Head of Data Science,Elias, you’ll work closely with our exceptional tech team to push the boundaries of what’s possible in customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. LLM & Recommendation Systems in Production 🛠️

    • Architect scalable infrastructure for deploying models on Databricks

    • Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless model deployment

    • Optimize model performance and cost-efficiency

  2. Vector Database Management 🔍

    • Implement and fine-tune vector databases for lightning-fast similarity searches

    • Optimize storage and retrieval processes for peak performance

  3. Experimentation & Testing 🧪

    • Design and conduct impactful A/B tests to drive continuous improvement

    • Develop comprehensive testing suites for LLM regression, performance, and responsibility


Profil recherché

What You Bring to the Table 💼

Essential Qualifications

  • 🎓 Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field from a top-tier engineering school

  • 💼 At least 4 years of professional experience in machine learning or related field

  • 💻 Proven experience in MLOps, preferably with Databricks

  • 🐍 Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)

  • 🧮 Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation

  • 📊 Hands-on experience with vector databases and statistical analysis

Preferred Skills

  • 🔤 Background in NLP and related libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers)

  • ☁️ Experience with Databricks for ML model lifecycle management

Soft Skills

  • 🧩 Sharp problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • 🗣️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • 🚀 Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment

Déroulement des entretiens

Recruitment process

  • Send us your CV (FR or EN) + an introductory message (no cover letter) to explain what you’re looking for (a few lines are enough).

  • Round 1: A 10-minute chat on the phone with our Talent Acquisition Manager, Charlotte, to make sure we’re aligned on our respective expectations (this is not an interview)

  • Round 2: HR meeting by video (or face-to-face, if you wish) with Charlotte

  • Round 3: Meeting with your future manager, Benoit

  • Round 4: Use case + restitution
