Descriptif du poste

You will work as a key component for the EMEA Buying and Merchandising team and will act as liaison with Lacoste partners within the EMEA region, as well as Travel Retail operators.

You'll have the chance to:

Work in a multicultural team and be exposed to different business models and key functions: merchandising-planning-commercial-marketing-product which will make you understand the process of selling a collection from the product creation to the ultimate deliveries to the final customers. Be the key contact for the EMEA team on sell-in, products and merchandising subjects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Within the MBP Europe department (Merchandising Buying Planning), the main missions will be to conduct the premiumization and development of the assortments in line with the Brand's strategy. Drive wholesale assortment strategy to increase business and footprint within the EMEA markets.

Geographical scope: Lacoste JV EREN (Turkey, Eastern Europe, CIS Countries) & Travel Retail EMEA

Your missions will be broken down as follows:

  • Merchandising:

Steering of the EMEA Regional Product development brief to Collection Merchandising team.

Construction of EMEA assortments, creation of the production forecast in line with budgets, group targets and the needs of the region.

Collection presentations to EMEA local merchandising teams & travel retail operators in Paris HQ Showroom.

Preparation of the Buy/Sell-In strategy for all distribution channels and territories in collaboration with Merchandise Planning. Follow-up of sell-in targets, implementation of the "Go-to Market" strategy.

Be responsible for the offer premiumization in Retail, Wholesale and Ecom.

Assortment & product strategy for Travel Retail Airport doors in EMEA, working closely with APAC & NORCAM Merchandising team.

  • Sales :

Drive the sell-in with our JV partners together with Commercial team, helping reach sales targets and brand ambition.

Working with our JV partners to develop wholesale & IKA businesses in the region. Build intelligent assortment dedicated to the wholesales account in line with commercial expansion plan.

Build a strong business relationship with local counterparts helping EMEA partners developing Lacoste business in their territories.

Specific focus on product offer segmentation depending on distribution channel development locally.

  • Operations :

Sell in & Sell-out analyses, product performance, collection performance, distribution channel performance.

Financial budget construction for Travel Retail accounts

Follow-up of investments and order intake on the different categories during and after sales campaign.

Presence in the markets: market visits, competitors monitoring.

Ensure communication with key contacts (Commercial team, Visual Merch, Supply Chain, Merchandise Planning, Markets, distribution channels).


Profil recherché

  • Bachelor + Master.

  • 5 years of successful experiences as a Merchandiser, Buyer, Product Manager, Key Account Manager.

  • Knowledge of the Fashion-Sport sector, the competitors, and key players in this sector.

  • Strong knowledge of the European wholesale market is required.

  • Organized, autonomous and proactive "Drive The Change", Leadership skills.

  • Very good communication and presentation skills.

  • Very good sense of analysis and synthesis.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (very good level of Excel & PowerPoint).

  • Fluent English essential.
