Originally founded as a streaming Soccer service, we have grown and expanded our mission to provide the best live sports streaming experience on the planet.

Today we broadcast most NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL games, all important Soccer leagues, and a wide range of college and other sports. We also broadcast a wide variety of movies and entertainment including the entire FOX and NBC broadcast catalogs. fubo can be accessed on many different platforms, including web browsers, Android, iOS, tvOS, fireTV, AndroidTV, Roku and Chromecast.

About the role:

fubo aims to deliver the highest quality viewing experience possible to every customer, every time. We are searching for Quality Assurance Specialists with a passion for testing, quality, correctness, and user experience.

As a QA Lead, you will have a strong background in software testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, managing the QA process, and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.

The fubo QA lead will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of manual and automation testers, providing guidance and support.

• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance product quality and team efficiency.

• Manage and coordinate manual testing activities across multiple projects and teams.

• Identify and report defects, track bug resolution, and ensure timely closure.

• Collaborate with a global team of product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design test strategies.

• Oversee the creation of detailed test plans and test cases, ensuring coverage for all requirements.

• Troubleshoot and triage issues to identify root cause - front end or back end, and drive the fix to resolution

• Identify opportunities for automation and assist in implementing automation solutions.

• Give a hand from time to time to QA some parts of our application stack and for pre-release non regression testing

The fubo QA lead must:

• Have a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Have sufficient technical knowledge to inspect backend API responses and determine potential causes for an issue

• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and integration testing.

• Proficiency in using testing tools and defect tracking systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience working in a global environment is a plus.

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Charles).

Additional desired skills:

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

• Ability to write clear, concise, and maintainable test scenarios using Gherkin.

• Experience with a JavaScript testing framework like WebdriverIO.

• Experience with mobile app automation frameworks like Appium (e.g., Java, JavaScript).

• Experience using Github for version control

• Ability to write and execute automation scripts for mobile apps and web apps

• Good communication and writing skills in both French and English.
