The position is based in Paris, France.
Position Overview :
The Campaign Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing multi-channel communication strategies that guide customers through their entire lifecycle with our product. This role specifically focuses on operationalizing our customer marketing strategy, crafting targeted communications via email, in-app messaging, and other channels to maximize customer onboarding success, adoption, engagement, retention, and drive cross-selling and upselling actions. The Campaign Manager reports to the Customer Marketing Lead within the Product Marketing team.
Key responsibilities :
1. Campaign development, execution & automation
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and Sales teams to identify and prioritize those key touchpoints /communication needs
- Design and implement comprehensive communication strategies across the entire customer journey: onboarding, adoption, retention, expansion (identify expansion opportunities within the existing customer base to push targeted campaigns promoting additional products/features at appropriate moments)
- Develop messaging frameworks and content guidelines that align with the company voice and customer needs
- Build, test, and deploy email workflows or in-app messaging sequences with the underlying goal of automating/scaling them
- Implement A/B testing to optimize messaging effectiveness
- Segment customer audiences and develop personalized communications based on behavior, feature usage, usage patterns, and other relevant criteria
- Create and maintain a content calendar for all planned customer communications
2. Performance measurement & reporting
- Define relevant KPIs for communication campaigns (open rates, CTR, CVR, etc)
- Track and analyze campaign performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Create regular reports on communication effectiveness/impact on customer behavior
- Use data insights to refine communication strategies continuously
Required qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in customer marketing or campaign management
- Strong understanding of email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Experience with in-app messaging systems and customer journey mapping
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging
- Data-driven approach to campaign optimization with experience in testing
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments (Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support)
- Fluent in French and good communication skills in english.
Preferred qualifications :
- Knowledge of customer lifecycle management and retention strategies
- Understanding of product-led growth principles
- Experience with CRM systems and customer data management
- Background in B2B SaaS or tech companies
Interview process :
1. Interview with a recruiter - 45 minutes
2. Interview with the Senior Customer Marketing Manager - 45 minutes
3. Business case with the Senior Growth Ops Manager- 60 minutes
4. Interview with the Senior Product Marketing Director - 45 minutes
