We’re scaling fast and we’re looking for a highly structured and strategic Chief of Staff to support the leadership team, bring clarity to priorities and turn strategy into action across the company.
You’ll sit at the heart of decision-making during a pivotal moment of growth.
You’ll have direct exposure to Shipup’s ExCom and work closely with our investor Global Blue.
You’ll lead strategic initiatives that shape the future of the company — and learn what it takes to run one.
Company strategy & planning
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define the company’s long-term goals, annual priorities, and key success metrics.
Ensure cross-functional alignment and follow-through on strategic initiatives.
Assist in preparing budgets, roadmaps, and key materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Operating Cadence & Execution
Drive the full OKR cycle: support teams in drafting goals, ensure alignment across departments, track progress, and measure impact.
Organize, run, and follow up on leadership and COMEX meetings to keep the business moving at pace.
Build scalable internal rituals to maintain clarity, accountability and operational rhythm.
Cross-functional initiatives
Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects that are critical to our success but don’t sit neatly within one department (e.g., pricing, positioning, process improvement).
Operate as an internal consultant to diagnose problems and accelerate decision-making across teams.
Org design & scaling
Partner with the leadership team to identify skill gaps, evolve team structures and help shape a scalable organization that supports growth.
Support internal mobility and team clarity through org design, role definition, and communication.
Business performance & analytics
Work closely with the Ops team to ensure we’re measuring what matters.
Track company-level KPIs and OKRs, and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
Communicate performance updates in a simple and transparent way to the broader team.
Internal communication
Ensure the company’s vision, priorities and updates are clearly communicated across all teams.
Craft messaging and materials that inform, align, and inspire - from All Hands to async updates.
3-6 years of experience in high-growth environments, ideally in:
Strategy consulting
Venture-backed startups
BizOps, Chief of Staff or project management roles
A structured thinker with strong business acumen and an operator mindset - you don’t just strategize, you execute.
Excellent at project and stakeholder management - you keep teams aligned and moving forward.
A trusted partner to senior leadership - you operate with discretion, neutrality and high emotional intelligence.
A clear communicator - whether it’s a board deck, team update or async doc, you make complexity simple.
Data-savvy - you’re comfortable working with metrics and dashboards, and know how to measure what matters.
Hands-on and adaptable - you’re comfortable jumping into messy problems and figuring it out as you go.
