About the role

 
Trustpair is searching for a Finance Assistant Intern to support our growing Finance, Admin & Legal team from June/July 2025. This position is a 6 month internship, providing lots of exciting opportunities to learn and develop your skills in a scaling, fast-paced environment. 

Reporting to Lena, our Accounting Manager and collaborating with various teams including Sales, CSM etc, you'll have a true impact on many departments as the company grows!

 

Your role:

Manage Daily Accounting Operations

  • Oversee customer and supplier accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Handle sales administration, including order processing, invoicing, and cash collection
  • Ensure end-to-end management of supplier invoices, from processing to dispute resolution


Support Monthly Financial Closing

  • Sales & accounts receivable
  • Purchases & accounts payable
  • Cash & cash equivalents


Enhance Financial & Accounting Processes

  • Identify and implement process improvements, with a strong emphasis on automation


Optimize Cost Monitoring & Reporting

  • Contribute to the development of accurate and insightful cost-tracking reports

Must Have

  • At least one prior experience or internship in a finance role 
  • You've already worked in a fintech, SaaS, consulting or audit firm
  • You're currently completing your masters degree (corporate finance or similar)
  • You possess outstanding communication skills (both oral & written) and can collaborate with external clients and our teams internally 
  • You are detail-oriented and rigorous, possessing strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in both English & French
  • Solid skills in Google Suite / Office Pack, other tools are a plus 
  • You're dynamic, able to take initiative and work with various stakeholders to achieve your goals
