Valtech is looking for a SFCC Backend Developer (all genders). Are you passionate about development and Salesforce Commerce Cloud in specific, and does it excite you to get things done in close collaboration with people around the globe? We have delivered over 150 projects based on Salesforce for world-famous brands such as L’Oréal, Sanofi, Deciem, and numerous NDA luxury projects.
MACH
Valtech is a founding member of MACH Alliance, a group that educates enterprises on best-of-breed Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless (MACH) technology. Among the projects delivered work for Levi’s, BMW Online Store, and Aerolíneas Argentinas.
A day in the life of a SFCC Backend Developer (all genders)
You'll join the digital team of a major luxury player, based in Paris and present internationally. Based on 2 sites (France and India), the team is in charge of e-commerce applications with a global reach (institutional sites and e-commerce).
As a SFCC Backend Developer (all genders), you fulfill an essential role. You work as a team member on the continuous improvement, new developments and maintenance of our solutions. You take charge of all or part of the integration of the client's projects by developing on an e-commerce, CMS, DAM, Analytics platform supported by SFCC.
In addition, you will:
- Perform code analyses and develop new features on platform modules or patches;
- Actively participate in application developments;
- Participate in code reviews;
- Implement SFCC best development practices within the project;
- Analyze and handle incidents;
- Write technical test notebooks around the integration platform;
- Participate in the integration acceptance test of scalable batches.
You and the role
With an IT background, you have solid experience of at least 5 years in SFCC and JavaScript development.
We would love if you have:
- Knowledge of SFCC: Demandware, SFCC 10.x, etc.;
- Automated testing and performance testing;
- Application profiling;
- System tuning;
- Code optimization;
You're enthusiastic about working on subjects in real time in a luxury and e-commerce environment. You're fluent in French and English, both written and spoken (working language).
