📋 Context
We are seeking a talented and motivated Risk Product Manager to join our Product team at the heart of our business as a leading credit platform. This role is integral to the Risk domain, a core area of focus within the company.
As the Risk Product Manager, you will report directly to the Lead Risk Product Manager, who will support you in developing your vision and guiding your career progression. This role offers a unique opportunity to interact with executive leadership, allowing you to present your strategies and solutions at the highest level.
In this position, you will act as a key link between business needs and technical execution, working closely with a dedicated development team of 4-6 people. From ideation to delivery, you will have end-to-end ownership of the product features you create, with the autonomy to drive your vision without intermediaries.
[Vision] Develop, own and promote the vision, strategy, priorities, and key results for the product area — collaborating with other product, cross-functional, and company leaders to ensure alignment with our company strategy, and generate buy-in and support.
[Goal Setting] Define what success looks like in terms of goals and metrics to have measurable and tangible impact on the overall business & strategy. Contribute to strategic decision-making for the Younit, aligning it with overall company goals and stakeholders.
[Discovery] Understand key challenges & risks, competitive positioning, business and tech opportunities working alongside main stakeholders, user research team and analytics to evaluate the right priorities to be added to the Younit backlog.
[Roadmap] Define and communicate the most impactful roadmap with your team and stakeholders that will address your Younit’s goals whilst integrating within Younited overall platform roadmap. Fill in the 12 months now-next-later roadmap every quarter.
[Build] Work hand in hand with your team, business owners and designers to build & specify the right solutions. With the help of lead deliveries, frame features and identify dependencies to ensure an iterative product approach and coherence with Younited platform.
[Planning] Prepare the backlog with the developers by ensuring that user stories are ready. Plan evolutions within the release process and define SMART sprints for the team in accordance with product & tech OKRs
[Impact measurement] Communicate to the team and main stakeholders’ delivery schedule, meaningful impacts and insights from success and failures.
Bac+5 in engineering school, business or equivalent academic
5 years of experience or product management with a bonus for FinTech
You have strong communication skills: you are not afraid to share your ideas with your peers and with C-levels
You anticipate future trends and can have a long-term vision
You are strong at summarizing and simplifying complex problems and ideas
You are comfortable building trust-based, value-added relationships with team members and senior executives
You are very curious and have a genuine interest in finding the best way to solve problems for your customers
You have strong analytical skills and always challenge assumptions with facts and figures
You are customer centric, you always put your customer interest first
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and French
