As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our platform.

We are currently 3 engineers in the tech team, made of both junior and more senior profiles. The team will be here to help you grow and they will count on you to have a meaningful impact on the team.

We are looking for an individual with solid technical foundations, eager to take their skills to the next level, someone who shares our values and can work independently.

Your missions :

• Develop front-end and backend features of our product.

• Collaborate with the founding team and customers to design, develop, and maintain software that aligns with Beavr’s mission and goals.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. The position is full stack : frontend, backend, data-science and ML.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Debug and troubleshoot bugs. Identify root causes and improve the code base.

• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with new software trends.

• Actively contribute to the culture of autonomy, technical excellence, and teamwork at Beavr.

• Take part in interview process to hire your next colleagues.

You are the perfect candidate if :

• You have 1+ year experience in software development (or at least 2x 6 month internship).

• You are a full stack engineer, willing to get your hands dirty on all topics (front, infra, product design…) and on languages or part of the stack you have never worked on before.

• You are a fast learner.

• You are product focus. You value bringing an exceptional experience to our customers above anything else.

• You are always the most pragmatic person in the room. You favor speed of iteration over perfection, and always leverage frameworks and libraries to avoid reinventing the wheel.

• You are curious and are comfortable with explaining or learning depending on the situation. The team has deep expertise and values knowledge sharing and humility

Our recruitment process is designed to last 2-3 weeks from first call to offer :

• Quick intro (30”) with Stan, Senior SE who joined in 2024. Discuss past experiences, validate mutual fit.

• Coding interview & answer your questions (45”) with Etienne, CTO.

• Take-home exercise : Show us how you build in a real life scenario (~4h).

• Onsite : Take home debrief, design interview, meet the team, show you everything there is to know about Beavr (~2h).

• Reference check : Hear about you from other people, prepare your onboarding.
