Captain Data intents to be "horizontal" in its operations: each person is invited to "be his own manager", in the sense of owning its work and decisions. And above all, to really be able to make these decisions, thanks to a favorable and open environment.

We strongly believe in execution - not simply executing to "do this or that", but always asking the right questions, challenging and questioning themselves. We value curiosity a lot!

In order to provide structure, the company is divided into several squads: sales, growth, automation, platform, product and marketing. Squads are a maximum of 5 people-team, to keep things running smoothly.

The product team is a strong pillar because everything we do is centered towards the platform. We use Captain Data on a day-to-day basis ourselves, and everything we do internally should be able to be reproduced by our customers

We try to industrialize everything we do: from back-end development to front-end to the end user, every feature is carefully thought to "scale".

The product team works with:

• sales and growth squads to always reposition the product according to immediate market needs
• tech squads to follow-up with current development
• customers ❤️ to gather feedback
• partners like 3rd-party data providers 

Thanks to this team, Captain Data is always iterating at a very fast pace.

Even though Captain Data has a strong tech culture, sales is definitely not left out.

Two things you need to know: 

• we use our own product internally - everything we do has to be reproductible
• sales is very high-level & technical

Even though Captain Data is no-code and does not require coding skills, it still requires customers to use their brain. You have to think about building the system, customizing it for the customer's needs, how it impacts different teams and the business as a whole.

There's a real expertise to develop, not "just" selling. By entering a sales position at Captain Data, you'll have the opportunity to learn skills like nowhere before. It's harder, but more rewarding 🙌

This squad is not a "basic" developer squad.

It's much more intense: because everything relies on this squad, things move fast:

• we push code every day, multiple times a day
• our automation library counts more than 100 automations, we're aiming at thousands
• everything is industrialized, you should never write the same code twice

You'll be working on our state of the art automation framework, written in NodeJS (soon Typescript). It's an hybrid framework enabling developers to work 10 times faster, by either integrating APIs, reversing API implementations or basic web scraping.

You'll see a direct impact over usage because these automations are used directly by our customers 💪

Captain Data is in a very particular place because the product we develop can be directly used to boost our growth. Everything we do is thought as to be easily replicable by our customers.

Doing an enrichment process to enrich trials? it'll be publicly available. Looking to extract leads from LinkedIn and scale the process? Sure. Pushing data to a CRM? Done. And the list goes on..

We want to build a platform: inside this platform, customers will have access to various products like automation templates or a generic way to extract or aggregate data.

By essence, our culture is centered around growth because everything we do is driven by the product.
