• Escape”s Engineering Team: 1 CTO, 1 Head of Engineering, 3 Tech Leads and 8 Engineers.

• You’ll be working in a close team of outstanding engineers under supervision of a technical lead

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain scalable fullstack systems, with a strong emphasis on backend services powering our AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.

• Own features end-to-end — from initial design and development to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

• Collaborate across teams, working closely with frontend and security engineers to deliver seamless, secure, and intuitive user experiences.

• Contribute to system architecture, influencing everything from data pipelines and API design to UI behavior and infrastructure choices.

• Ensure code quality and maintainability by following modern engineering best practices and driving technical excellence across the stack.

Code Quality:

• Modern Standards: All code follows the latest industry standards and best practices.

Core Engineering:

• 3+ years minimum of professional experience as a Fullstack or Backend Engineer working on SaaS solutions and scaling.

• Strong experience working on core backend systems, algorithms, or infrastructure-level challenges.

• Solid understanding of scalable architecture, high-performance systems, and event-driven design.

Your technical expertise:

• Go/Python — for high-performance services and networking tasks.

• Node.js/TypeScript — powering our GraphQL APIs with Yoga, Pothos, and Prisma.

• PostgreSQL — experience managing schemas and optimizing large-scale data pipelines.

• Kafka — building high-throughput, event-driven systems.

• Python — for AI integrations and algorithmic development.

• Svelte with TypeScript — for fast, intuitive UIs.

• GraphQL — for efficient, scalable frontend-backend communication.
