As our Global IT Manager, you will play a key role in being our Single point of contact for the the IT operations. Based in the Paris headquarter, you will Lead the IT team and focus on optimizing and organizing the business processes and increase efficiency through automation for all our regions (France, UK, US, Canada, Singapore).
As part of a collaborative team and managed by Jean-Baptiste, our Head of Operations, you will work closely with various international teams based in Paris, London, Singapore or NYC and including challenging topics linked to Crypto Trading and large international device fleet management.
Your role and responsibilities
- Infrastructure, Device, and MDM Management:
- Administer and support Apple devices (Macbooks and iPhones) within the organization.
- Implement, manage, and optimize the performance of our network infrastructure using Ubiquiti solutions.
- Maintain, and continuously improve Mobile Device Management (MDM) using Jamf.
- Utilize Bash scripting to automate tasks and streamline processes within the Jamf environment.
- Implement data backups strategies and coordinate disaster recovery operations.
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Network and System Operations:
- Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records.
- Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
- Recommend changes to improve system and network configurations, determining the hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
- Confer with network users about resolving existing system problems.
- Software and Application Administration:
- Manage and configure Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions with Okta, utilizing Terraform.
- Administer security solutions using Jamf Protect & Kolide, ensuring the highest level of protection for company assets.
- Administer and support Google Workspace for company mail and file storage.
- Oversee the communication channels, particularly Slack, to ensure uninterrupted communication across the organization.
- Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide Level 2, and Level 3 support to staff for all IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
- Document known issues, solutions, and best practices in a knowledge base.
- Software Security:
- Conduct regular software security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the integrity of company data and systems.
- Implement patches and updates as needed.
Requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work with a team and lead it.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network fundamentals.
- Extensive experience with SSO (eg: Okta, Onelogin, Jumpcloud) required.
- Technical knowledge of Network (VPN, VLAN, Unifi solution) and Hardware Management system is required (Jamf).
- Great experience with macOS and iOS environments.
- Strong interest in technology and eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts.
- A previous experience in the IT domain (networks, system administrations, etc) would be a plus.
- Experience with automation tools and technologies (eg: Workato) would be a plus.
- Experience in Crypto Trading or Market Finance would be a plus.
