Who we are?

HarfangLab is a cybersecurity scale-up that has developed an EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) software, designed to prevent, detect and neutralize attacks targeting workstations and servers. In 2024, our solution has incorporated EPP (Endpoint Protection Platform) capabilities and monitoring tools to simplify IT infrastructure audits.

Since our founding in 2018, HarfangLab's technology has earned widespread recognition, winning prestigious awards and achieving the distinction of being the first ANSSI-certified EDR in 2020, followed by becoming the first to receive ANSSI qualification in 2025.

We have raised a total of €30 millions, enabling us to strengthen our teams and expand internationally across Europe. In just three years, HarfangLab’s workforce has nearly tripled, with the majority of its team members coming from technical backgrounds and dedicating themselves to R&D and continuous product enhancement.

Today, HarfangLab protects the endpoints of several hundred clients of all shapes and sizes, from CAC 40 corporations and government agencies to SMEs, hospitals, and local councils.

What you will do with us?

  • Your primary role will be to conduct threat intelligence analysis to contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the product's detection capabilities.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring and threat intelligence analysis.
  • Propose and prototype new detection methods / rules to enhance the product's capabilities.
  • Actively propose improvements to the product, including new features, and contribute in its evolution.
  • Take part in communication efforts regarding the current threat landscape
  • Additionally, you may also be required to provide support and guidance to specific clients.

What you can expect from your future team?

You will join the Cyber Threat Intelligence team, made up of 7 passionate engineers who are very keen to continuously make sure the product is able to efficiently detect cyberthreats. They focus on monitoring the evolution of threats and reporting on their status, while also proposing and developing new detection methods and enriching the product with tailored detection rules. This team works closely with the Agent team.

Like every team at HarfangLab, we have a lot of autonomy, and we have great confidence in our colleagues. You will also be able to drive your own projects based on your preferences.


About you

  • You are a Master Degree student in an engineering school and you are looking for a 1 or 2 years apprenticeship that will start in Septembre 2025,
  • You ideally have a strong interest in cybersecurity or related fields,
  • You are recognized for your reliability and your diligence and teamwork is important to you,
  • You are resourceful, curious, able to take initiatives and you can work autonomously,
  • You are passionate, you enjoy learning and sharing your knowledge with others, and discussing technical topics,
  • You are fluent in French and English (both written and spoken)


Possessing some of these hard skills would be advantageous : 

  • You are familiar / proficient with Python and you eventually have some knowledge of Rust/C,
  • Understanding internals of Windows, Linux or MacOS Operating Systems,
  • Experience in system administration and/or network administration, which would be useful to conduct tests,
  • Familiarity with different attack techniques,
  • Reverse Engineering Experience,
  • Incident Response Experience,
  • Red Team/Intrusion testing Experience,
  • Blue Team/SOC Experience.
